Stormwater infrastructure and services are critical to protecting lives, property, commerce, and the quality of our local and national waterways. The City's stormwater infrastructure however, is under increasing stress due to age, development, and expanding regulatory requirements. The Williamsport Sanitary Authority (WSA) is tasked with maintaining and improving the system to assure proper function and to meet stringent regulations required by state regulatory agencies. Customers are encouraged to attend a public meeting hosted by the WSA to be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 to learn more about the proactive stormwater management plan including its goals, costs, and billing method. The 4:00 pm meeting will focus on business, industry, and non-profit customers and the 7:00 pm meeting will focus on residential customers.
